Army: Delivery: The number of M60T-Sabra III MBTs was raised to 20.
Army: Delivery: The number of Leopard I-A1-Volkan MBTs was raised to 65.
Army: Delivery: The number of T-122 Artillery Rocket Launchers was raised to 76.
Army: Delivery: The number of T-155 Firtina SPHs was raised from 84 to 94.
Army: Delivery: The number of T-155 Panter towed-Howitzers was raised from 36 to 46.
Army: Retirement: The FIM-43A Redeye Manpads were removed from the inventory.
Army: Retirement: The Cobra anti-tank missiles were removed from the inventory.

Army: Delivery: The number of M60T-Sabra III MBTs was raised to 14. This is the delivery of the first party to the Army.
Army: Correction: I subtracted the 170 units which are under Sabra-III modernization from the total number of M-60A1/RISE/Passive MBTs and corrected the number of the latter to 96.
Army: Correction: The number of M-48A5T2 MBTs was corrected from 750 to 760.
Army: Correction: The controversial number of Eryx ATGM launchers delivered was corrected from 340 to 620.
Army: Correction: The number I-GNAT UAVs was corrected from 2 to 3.
Air Force: Correction: The new placement of order for the Litening III pod was canceled and replaced by the recent order of AselPod.

Gendarmerie: The number of BTR-60 APCs was reduced from 302 to 295.
Army: New Information: The B-611 Yildirim SRBM was unveiled and the number of units was noted as 36 launchers and 100 missiles.
Army: Delivery: The number of LeopardIIA4 MBTs was raised from 60 to 150.
JULY 2007
Due to my intensive work schedule, I was unable to provide the updates for a few months. My apologies... and here is the new updates:
Army: Delivery and New Order: The number of Otokar Cobra APCs of the Land Forces was raised from 5 to 65 and an additional 288 units were added to the delivery line. The newly ordered units will be operated by the Army and the Gendarmerie, however the distribution between the two services remains unknown.
Army: Delivery: The number of T-155 Firtina SPHs was raised from 48 to 84.
Army: Donation: The number of M-114 (155 mm.) towed-howitzers was reduced from 538 to 514 due to donation of 24 units to the Afghan National Army.
Air Force: Delivery: The delivery of HAWK-XX1 air-defence systems is complete. The corrected number of launchers is 48, not 24 as stated previously.
Air Force: Crash: The number of F-5-2000 LIFT fighters was reduced from 45 to 44 due to crash of a unit in Konya in June 2007.
Air Force: Crash: The number of F-16 Block 50 fighters was reduced from 74 to 73 due to crash of one unit (F-16D) in Balikesir in July 2007.
Air Force: Crash: The number of F-16 Block 40 fighters was reduced from 102 to 101 due to crash of one unit (F-16C) in Konya in May 2007.

Army: Delivery: The number of T-155 Panter towed-Howitzers was raised from 24 to 36.
Army: The ATAK attack helicopter gunship tender was concluded. The winner is Agusta Westland's Mangusta A-129.
Army: Delivery: Number of Leopard II-A4 MBTs was raised from 29 to 60.
Army: Retirement: 658 M-48A3 and 578 M-48A2C MBTs which were actually inactive were removed from the inventory.
DECEMBER 2006
Army: Delivery: Number of Atilgan 2x4 KMS systems was raised to 34 and that of Zipkin 1x4 KMS systems to 28.
Navy: Project Cancellation: Plans to modernize Ay-class submarines was canceled.
Air Force: Delivery: Delivery of all F-5-2000 LIFT units is complete. Number of units was increased from 42 to 45.
Gendarmerie: Crash: S-70A28 Blackhawk crashed. Number of units was reduced from 21 to 20.

Navy: Decommissioning: Bayraktar-class LST was removed.
Army: Delivery: Number of Leopard II-A4 MBTs was raised from 9 to 29.
Air Force: Crash: F-16 C Block 40 crashed in the Bitlis vicinity. The number of Block 40s was reduced to 102.
SEPTEMBER 2006
Air Force: Planned purchase: It was made public by Pentagon that 30 F-16 Fighting Falcon Block 50+ aircrafts will be purchased from the U.S. to compensate the 27 attrition losses. The purchase includes 42 GE F-110-129 engines, 60 LAU-129A, 36 LINK-16, 35 AN/APX-113 AIFF, 32 AN/APG-68(V9) radar, 36 JHMCS, 3 LINK-16 Ground Stations and 36 AN/ALQ-178 EWS.
Navy: Delivery: Number of Kilic II class fast attack missile crafts was raised to 3, hence total number of FACs to 24.
Navy: Delivery: Number of A (MHV-45-014) class mine counter measure vessels was raised to 3, hence total number of MCMVs to 22.
Air Force: Crash: F-16 C Block 50 crashed in the Canakkale vicinity. The number of Block 50s was reduced to 74.

Army: Delivery: The first batch of 9 LeopardIIA4 MBTs was delivered to the army.
JULY 2006
Air Force: Crash: The target number of F-5-2000 LIFT fighters was reduced from 46 to 45 due to the crash of one unit during a training flight in Konya.
JUNE 2006
Air Force: Correction: The number of NF-5 A/B Freedom Fighters of the Turkish Stars Air Acrobatics Team was corrected from 9 to 14.
MAY 2006
Navy: Decommissioning: The number of M-510 (S) Class mine warfare ships was reduced from 9 to 7.
Army: Removal: I removed the Toros 230/260 multiple-launched artillery rocket systems from the inventory as these systems turned out to be demonstrational tools developed for capacity-building purposes only.
Navy: Delivery: The number of MRTP33 Patrol boats was raised from 1 to 4.
Navy: Delivery: The number of SG80 Patrol boats was raised from 12 to 14.
Air Force: Mid-air collision: An F-16 Block-50 collided, south-west of Rhodes, with another F-16 of the Hellenic Air Force. The number of Block-50s was dropped to 75.
Air Force: Additional info: I broke down the number of F-16s into C and D types.
Air Force: Additional info: I included the 10 RF-4E aircrafts, which I previously stated were reserves, into the total which now sums up to 32.
Air Force: Additional info: A list of air-air and air-ground missiles ordered from the US were added.
Air Force: Reduction: The number of AGM 88B HARM was reduced to less than 95 due to the test-firing of one missile during the Anatolian Eagle 2006 exercises and loss of an unknown amount in the crashes.
Air Force: Reduction: The number of Popeye I was reduced to 99 due to the test-firing of one missile during the Anatolian Eagle 2006 exercises.
Air Force: Correction: The number of C-130B Hercules transport planes was corrected from 5 to 6.
Army/Air Force: Correction: I just learned that the HARPY UAVs are operated by the Air Force but not by the Army. Therefore the concerned entry was shifted from the Army page to the Air Force page. The number of units was also dropped to 107 due to the test-firing of one UAV during the Anatolian Eagle 2006 exercises.
Air Force: Addition: I added the Heron MALE UAVs which I have forgotten for some reason.
Air Force: Correction: The number of T-37B/C/2020 Tweed was corrected to 58 and that of T-41D to 28.

Navy: Recent Delivery: The third Gur-class sub which was commissioned in February is now operational, raising the total number of subs to 13.
Air Force: Ground Accident: The target number of F-5-2000 LIFT fighters was reduced from 48 to 46 as two units burnt down to the point of no return.
Army: Recent Delivery: The number of T-155 Panter towed-Howitzers was raised to 24.
Army: Crash: The number of UH-1H helicopters was reduced to 40.
